Hydroxyapatite bio – an analogue to the mineral part of the bone tissue
Biogenic hydroxyapatite is made from biological raw materials – bones of cattle, and consists of a wide range of minerals and trace elements in physiological proportions typical of the healthy tooth enamel tissue.
Biogenic hydroxyapatite is fully compatible with the human body and is not rejected by it. We suggest using it as a component of toothpastes, food additives, and cosmetics.
Fraction size: up to 1 µm.
Biogenic hydroxyapatite, being a complete analogue of the mineral part of the human bone tissue, regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body. What is more, biogenic hydroxyapatite contains chemical elements in the same ionic forms in which they are found in the human body. Biogenic hydroxyapatite does not cause any rejection reaction for human use and activates osteogenesis (formation of a new bone tissue); it is the most assimilable source of calcium, too. Biogenic hydroxyapatite belongs to low-toxic substances, does not cause long-term side effects (inflammatory, allergic reactions, does not have a mutagenic effect, does not affect the course of pregnancy and the fetal development).
